Systems outage notification 1/9

We're aware of a system issue causing limited access to our banking services and we're working to fix this as our highest priority. We'll provide a further update as soon as possible.

 

All customer funds and data are safe.

Banking services including Bankwest App, online banking, ATMs, and EFTPOS are intermittently unavailable. We're continuing to work on getting these back up and running as our highest priority.
 
Our stores are also experiencing issues so may not be able to handle all our your needs.
 
Customer funds and data remain safe. We're very sorry for the frustration customers are experiencing.
 
We'll update you again by 8:30am Perth time regardless of how much ne winfo we have to share.

UPDATE 8:45am Perth time
Some services are now being restored including ATMs and EFTPOS transactions. Customers may experience some interruptions as these services come back online. Our Contact Centre is also now able to take customer calls.
 
We're still working on mobile and internet banking services and we'll update customers ASAP on progress. Customer data and funds remain secure.

Our banking services including Bankwest App, online banking, ATMS, EFTPOS are returning to normal and we're continuing to closely monitor their performance.

UPDATE 9:44am Perth time All customer banking services are coming back online. There may be some interruptions as all systems are restored over the next few hours. Our colleagues are working flat out to support our customers impacted overnight and this morning.

 

Please make sure you close the Bankwest App and online banking before trying to access it again.

All customer banking services have now been restored and we're confident this issue has been resolved.
 
Colleagues in Bankwest stores are serving customers and our Contact Centre colleagues are all taking calls.
 
We fully appreciate this was a major inconvenience and thank you for bearing with us. We're continuing to closely monitor all our systems.
