Today the RBA announced a change to the official cash rate, reducing it by 0.25%.
We assess all aspects of the RBA decision before making any changes to our interest rates.
If we make any changes to our interest rates, we'll notify our customers via our normal channels, including here on the Bankwest Forum.

Hi Sarah,

When the big four (including CBA) are responding with the cash rate reduction - and passing this on in varied degrees to EXISTING customers - why is Bankwest so slow to respond now (and historically) to these rate cuts? Maybe you could provide some background as to when the rate cuts have been past on to customers in the past. I have been a customer for some time and all i remember is Bankwest passing on cash rate increases? Thanks as i am considering refinancing elsewhere. Thanks, Dan
