Transfer from TELENET SAVER to HERO SAVER

Hello,

I have a Telenet Saver account which is linked to an account with another bank. I recently opened a Hero Saver account and wishto transfer funds from my Telenet Saver account to my Hero Saver account.

Do I need to transfer the funds from Telenet to my linked account (with the other bank) and then transfer it back from other bank to my Hero Saver account?

Can you please advise how I can achieve this? I would prefer to transfer within Bankwest and not go external and them transfer back.

My understanding is that I cannot link my Telenet and Hero?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Kevin

Hi @KevS, thanks for your enquiry.

A Telenet Saver is an online linked account, which does indeed mean that any funds in the account will need to first be transferred to the linked everyday transactional account, before it can be forwarded to another account.

You're correct, you're unable to link a Hero Saver to a Telenet Saver, but you're certainly able to link a Bankwest transactional account to the Telenet Saver, for instantaneous linked account transfers. You'd just need to complete a Change of Linked Account Form.

If you don't already hold a Bankwest transactional account, you can have a look at our current options here.

Thank you.
