How are maintenance fees determined for the saving acc?

Hi.. i have let my saving left for only $5 for almost 2 months, but BW billed $6 out for a maintenance fee. How are the maintenance determined and how can i get a rid from that fees because i still need my acc for a long period and uncertain of time? Thank you.

Hi @Dedy_Ruzwardy, some of our everyday accounts do have a $6 monthly fee if you don't make a minimum deposit of $2,000 per month. It sounds like this may be the type of account you have. To look into which account may better suit your needs, or what options may be available to you we would need to speak with you in a Bankwest store or over the phone. If you can give us a call on 13 17 19, we can look into this for you.

Hi again? Means that i need to deposit 2000$ every months? Not maintain the balance min 2000$?

Is that okay to get refund?

Hi @LAURENTIA, that's correct. If a minimum of $2000 is not deposited to the account prior to close of business on the last business day of each month, then the $6 maintenance fee will apply. The fee is not charged based on the balance of the account, but rather the funds coming into the account. Hope this helps.
