Why do I contunally get a Dishonour fee despite money being in the account at the time? I recieve a text telling me funds need to be in my account and there is! Even by the time I'm told it needs to be in there! Can you please claify this as I feel it has gone on far too long. Is it an automated thing???????

Hi @Scotthalpin10, I'm really sorry to see this, and I can certainly understand the disappointment you have expressed in relation to being charged these fees.
These will raise on your account, if it has a negative balance caused by a direct debit at the close of business on any given day. The $10 Honour Fee is charged, as Bankwest have paid the debit on your behalf, and will allow you until 12.45pm AWST the following business day to transfer the negative balance back into your account. If credit funds are not in the account by this time, then the payment is reversed by the bank, and a $10 Dishonour Fee is raised to your account in place of the Honour Fee.
