Hi, Bankwest is a good bank for people who live in Australia, what about those who dont. Us retired people who live in another country and have non australian mobile phone numbers, cant even log on anywhere to change an email address, or who wants to send a money transfer but cannot be sent an sms to complete the process.
It seems that I have to fly back to australia, empty my accounts, close the accounts as there is no point if you live outside australia.
Yesterday- wantedto transfer money to the states to buy xmas presents- cant do.
Today - wanted to change the email address as someone tampered with my current one-cant do.
getting angry - Bankwest

Hi @jimbo60, I'm sorry to hear you feel this way. While you do require an SMS code to send funds overseas online, we do have an international money transfer form that you can fill in and send through to us via Bankmail.
You can view the details of it here.
In regards to changing your email address we can do this over the phone for you.
You can call us from overseas on +61 8 9486 4130. This is a reverse charges number. To use this number from outside Australia please contact the international operator in the country you are in and request to be put through to +61 8 9486 4130. Please note: we have no control over any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator. Thanks.
