credit card over limit

I just paid my telstra bill online using my credit card not realising when I did I went 101 over my credit card limit of 2000. I immediately transferred the 101 over the limit amount back into the credit card so it would not be over the limit anymore.

Will I still incur a penalty for this eg dishonours fees?

Hi @denatured, thanks for your enquiry. As long as the funds were transferred back into the credit card prior to close of business on the same day that the card was taken over the limit, I can confirm that there would be no fee charged. Thanks!
