Unknown Transaction

We just got home from overseas and I logged in to our account and there's a transaction on there that I didn't recognise."PAYPAL ASKNET INC 4029357733 AUS" for  $104.23, dated 2 days ago, I quickly logged in to my Paypal account and sure enough there is no such transaction, I entered the details in to Mr Google and it says its a scam so I logged back in to my account and stopped my card and will have to get my husband to do the same as it's a joint account. How does something like this happen? Will I need to get a new card, this happens to me regularly and am already on my 3rd card.

Hi @Shazlac, thanks for contacting us in regards to this. For security reasons we can't access or discuss any personal account information via the forum, so we'd need to speak with you over the phone on 13 17 19, or via our online messaging service to look into this further for you.

You can access messaging during WA business hours by logging into online banking using a computer and selecting "Message us now".

 

We will need you to complete a Transaction Dispute Form, so that we can investigate the transaction further for you. You can download the form at www.bankwest.com.au/forms under the heading "General Forms".
