I recently had a credit card account closed due to a suspected compromise and a new card issued. Unfortunately, in the process I have lost access to the closd credit card account records via transaction search, and hence the ability to export these records into CSV formate or QIF format.
I export all my records to Excel at tax time. Whilst I have access to eStatements, these are in pdf format and it is a pain to manually copy transactions from pdf to excel.
So I have two requests:
1. Could you please add functionality to allow transaction searches and exporting on closed accounts?
2. Could you please offer alternate eStatement formats (CSV, QIF or EXCEL etc)?
Also, if anyone has advice on how to easily automate import of tables from pdf eStatements into excel - that would be great.

Over 6 months later and I'm in the same situation as Darren was.
All the transactions made between my last statement and the account being closed seem to be lumped together in a single transaction on the new account.
How can I view and export those transactions?

Thanks @growly, these transactions should have shown on the final statement of the closing credit card account as once an account is closed, it is removed from your Bankwest Online Banking account list. If you're having trouble locating these transactions via the statement, it would be a good idea to live chat with us so we can assist. You can access live chat by logging into online banking during WA business hours using a computer and selecting the orange "chat now" button.
