TRANSFERING MONEY

Posted by OnlineHelp OnlineHelp
Message 1 of 2 120 Views

I want to withdraw MY own money from Bankwest and transfer it to another bank who are offering a better term deposit rate.

The amount exceeds my daily online limit and I have been told that I can have it in a $10 bank cheque or $35 for an online transaction.

Then other bank does not do Direct Debit ...........

I find this very appauling considering you were happy to take my money but now I want MY own money - you want to charge me!!! Please advise how I can get my money transferred minus any fees ?????

Hi @OnlineHelp, I'm really sorry to hear you feel this way. Whilst the above options you have been provided would be the only way to ensure that the funds were sent altogether, you can look at transferring the amount through your Online Banking. If the funds are in an account that is in joint names, all parties registered with SMS Security can increase their daily transfer limit to a maximum of $20k per person, per day through their Online Banking. You would then be able to split the payment between the joint parties, over multiple days. It's important to note that if it is a Term Deposit, there is a 7 calendar day grace period from maturity, in which the funds would need to be transferred. Hope this helps!
