I am currently overseas (I told BankWest this before I left) and am trying to make a payment that requires a SMS confirmation code. How can I disable this? I can't receive text messages on my usual Australian number because I am overseas and don't have internatinally roaming.

Hi @madwall, thanks for your enquiry. If you are unable to access your registered Australian Mobile, an exemption can certainly be placed on the SMS Code. To have this actioned you do need to be verbally identified, so we would ask that you call our Contact Centre on +61 8 9486 4130 from overseas.
This is a Reverse Charges Number, however as you would need to contact the International Operator in the country you are in, I am unable to advise if there would be any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator.
It might interest you to know however, if you use the Bankwest Mobile App with a PIN or Fingerprint login, you will not require SMS security when processing a transfer. I hope this helps.
