A vendor has incorrectly charged me $1000 instead of $500.
They have issued a refund of $500 straight away (this has been all over the phone to a MasterCard debit card)
I have been advised that it will be in my account in 10 days and another Bankwest consultant said 3 working days.
Can you advise the correct turnaround time?
The vendor have assured me the funds have been returned by them and any processing time will be dictated by my bank.
If 10 days is the correct timeframe is there any way to expedite the process as none of this was through fault of my own.
Look forward to hearing back from you

Hi @sallyree, thanks for reaching out.
Generally speaking, a merchant refund can indeed take up to 10 business days - we can't expedite this.
This is completely dependent on when the actioning bank actually processes the merchant's request. Bankwest will process a payment on the same day it is received, so if you can't see it in your account, it means we haven't yet received it. I'm sorry I don't have a different answer for you.
