Hi, I'm trying to make a payment to another bank account, but every time I try to do so, the number 0 from the front is removed from the recipient's account number, and the payment is sent to the number without the 0. The next day the payment is always returned to my account as the number is invalid. I have tried on both the Bankwest app and on PC.

Hi @kuroshiz, our system will automatically remove any leading 0's from the from an account number, as this does not effect a payment transfer in any way. If your payment is continually being returned, it may be best to check with the receiver and ask them to re-confirm/check the details they have provided you against their statement, or speak with their bank to ask why they are not accepting the payment.
