Online Banking expectations?

Im new to Bankwest and i was delighted to see a chat system and bankmail as part of the online solution. Im not so delighted with the experience so far. The two times i have used chat i have had no reply before my online banking logged itself out for inactivity and with the bank mail I am currently on day 3 of the we willget back to you in 1-2 business days!


Is this normal service and I should just ring to save my sanity?

Hi @redsline I'm sorry you've had this experience with our Online Teams and can appreciate this is frustrating. 

Generally our Online Messaging Team will respond with 15 minutes and our BankMail Team within 2 business days, although there have been a few events recently (eg end of financial year and RBA announcements) that has pushed out these time frames. 

With the online messaging service, you can send your message, leave and come back. You don't have to sit and wait for a reply, we know you have better things to be doing with your time.

Also, if you use our app and have notifications enabled, you'll receive a push notification when you receive a reply.
