We're really excited to have launched in-app messaging, the easiest way to have a conversation with us in real time.
Using the "Ask Us" button on the Bankwest mobile app, you're able to chat with our team from your device 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Logging in with your security details (ie PAN and Secure Code, PIN or Fingerprint) means there's no need for additional ID verification - you can start a secure conversation right away.
You'll even receive Push Notifications when we've replied - so there's no need to interrupt that game or ruin that selfie!

It's also good to note that Messaging is available in your Online Banking when logged in via the Full Site on a PC/Laptop - you can view more info here.

There is no Ask Us button in the app on my iPad.
I have tried calling Bankwest, but being put on hold for half an hour didn’t appeal. So I looked for the Ask Us that you are so proud of. It doesn’t exist. Anywhere. Certainly not in the spot you show in the photo in your post. Or anywhere else. I try “Contact us’ instead but it sends me to the website where it tells me to click on the Ask Us button in the app. OMG.
I want to close 2 of my redundant accounts but there is no way for me to do such a simple thing in the app or the website so I guess I have to block out a whole afternoon to sit on hold till a human answers the phone. Great.
Can you tell I’m frustrated?
