How to change secret/security questions

It’s important to ensure your secret questions are kept up-to-date and are not easy to answer! If you ever feel the need to update these, we've made it very easy to do – see below.

You manage these in online banking

  1. Select ‘My details & security' from the left-hand menu, then ‘Change secret questions’.
  2. Due to the level of security this provides you it’s vital we confirm your identity via SMS Code. Click the ‘SMS me now’ button and enter the 6 digit SMS Code you receive on your registered mobile into the ‘enter SMS code’ field, then select ‘next’.
  3. You now need to select 4 secret questions and provide the appropriate answers, then select ‘next’.
  4. You’ll now see a confirmation page. Make sure all details are correct and you memorise the answers. Then click the ‘confirm’ button and you’re all done.

I do not quite know where to fnd the 'My Details & Security' ( from left-handmenu?). I really want to change the security questions, as I have forgotten them and the answers for them.

Hi @aibrahim, can I ask are you logging in using a computer or a mobile device? The feature you're looking from can only be accessed by logging via a computer. Thanks!

Hi there.. I tried to enter password in login for online banking and was incorrect, after three attempts had to reset security code but do not remember one of my answers to one of my security questions, it said I can change it but how can I if I can not login to change it as just want to check my account balance? Hoping you can help please

Hi @Greg78, if you're unable to reset your secure code via SMS code or secret questions, we'd need to speak with you over the phone. If you can call us on 13 17 19, we can assist with this.
