I have purchased a house and need the money out of my Bankwest account. Unfortunately I am in Brisbane where they closed all their branches and i cant get to the remaining one. I have queried them on the message service and via phone, and done what they have said to make a transfer of my funds, which was via international transfer. I now get a message saying they might look at it in the next 5 days. How the hell is this possible that they refuse to give me money which is actually mine, not theirs. What the hell is going on with this stupid bank.

Sorry to see you feel this way @pwr648.
An International Transfer will be actioned within 3 - 5 business days - this means the team will go through the necessary security checks, and get in touch with you to confirm the details prior to processing the payment. From there, it can take up to 5 business days for the funds to be received. These time frames are a worst case scenario, and it won't always take this long.
