Hi @anita, you can access our chat service by logging into your online banking using a computer. Once you've logged in you'll see an orange button that says "chat now" in the bottom right hand of the page. This will only appear when an operator is available to speak with you. Please let me know if you're still unable to access this. Thanks!

Pathetic. Been waiting hours for the orange symbol to appear. Why can't we be put in a line with an estimated response time.

I'm sorry for the wait you've experienced @Fishnenya, I can assure you that we do have consultants online chatting this morning. The button is greyed out when all consultants are currently engaged in chats and will appear as orange as soon as someone becomes available.
Please be aware that if you leave your online banking running in the background, the session may time out and the button would disappear.
If your enquiry is urgent, it may be best to give us a call on 13 17 19 so we can assist ASAP. Thanks!

I have the same question. I have logged on to internet Bankwest banking on my mini iPad using safari browser and can't see the chat line at the bottom right hand side. I'm overseas at the moment and when I turned on my mobile phone, I saw there were a few messages from Bankwest. One Bankwest person had left a short message.

Hi @Lyn, as the chat service is not currently available on tablets or mobile devices, you'll need to log in to your online banking using a laptop or desktop computer to access live chat. The button will then appear in the bottom right of the screen. Thanks!
