Fees - Overdue

My September 2017 statement is showing an overdue fee of $25.00.  I paid the amount due for September 2017 on 29 August 2017 - cheque # 001986 - $200.00.  This is showing as being received and put to my credit card account on 01 September 2017...well before the minimum payment due date.  I also received a $0.04 Purchase Interest.

Can you please advise.

Many thanks.

Hi @CarleneP, thanks for your enquiry.

A late fee is charged when the minimum monthly repayment amount is not received between the statement issue date, the due date outlined on the statement itself. As Credit Card statements are issued every 30 days, your due date will differ slightly month to month.

Via the Forum we are unable to view your account details, however if you would like to discuss this further you can log into your Online Banking and select the "Chat Now" button between 7am - 6pm AWST Monday - Friday, or you can send a BankMail via the "Message Centre" tab. Alternatively, you can call our Contact Centre on 13 17 19 between 8am - 8pm your local time, 7 days a week.

This previous post may also assist you with more information on why the fee was charged, and how to avoid this in future.

Thank you.
