Changing Key Card

Hi! I’m 16 now, and I was put onto a key card when I got my job last year. I was wondering if I was able to switch to another card with a chip; maybe like a debit card. Also, do I have to wait for the expiry date? Thanks guys!!

Hi @erinwrankmore, thanks for contacting us in regards to this.

Can I just confirm that you are referring to getting a Debit MasterCard, which you can use much like a Credit Card just with your own funds?  If so, you can certainly order one of these now that you have turned 16. The good news is, you won't need to wait for your standard Debit Card to expire before you do this Smiley Happy

You can do this via Online Banking by selecting "Self Service" and then "Forms" from the left hand menu and then follow the prompts to order a Debit Card MasterCard. Alternatively, if you can't access Online Banking you can call us on 13 17 19 to arrange this.

Hope this helps!
