Cannot loggin to my account

I m current oversea and failed to loggin to my online banking whicih i did successfully 2 days ago. I called the customer service they are saying this is locked down because all of sudden they need more documentation to identify the owner of this account is me! Their suggestion is to ask me physically go into the store! I opened this account almost 10 years ago and never have such things happened, really have no idea why it happening now. Can someone please share some comments?
