I'm trying to transfer money from my Australian Bankwest account to my new Canadian debit card and it has prompted me to receive an SMS when changing the daily international limit. I've inserted my Australian SIM card containing my normal mobile number while selecting 'SMS me now' but I don't get any SMS. Thus, I'm unable to transfer the money.
Is there a different solution to this, such as emailing the code instead?

Hi @Sofee, thanks for your question. While we can't email the SMS code for security reasons we can place a temporary SMS exemption on your account while you are overseas. While this won't assist in transferring funds internationally or increasing limits as these transactions always require an SMS code, it will allow you to use other features of online banking while overseas (such as sending funds to Australian accounts or accessing BPAY).
In regards to sending money to your account in Canada, we can arrange this for you via our International Money Transfer forms. You can access these here: https://www.bankwest.com.au/personal/payments-services/moving-your-money/international-payments

Thanks a lot, I will use this application. Is there a limit to how much I can transfer? And what email do I send this application to?
