Just wondering if there was any intention of introducing a tool through online banking and/or mobile app that would allow customers to track their spending and help with budgeting. This is available for at least Commonwealth and NAB customers at the moment, and would make dodgy budgeting apps (such as Pocketbook) less of an issue in regards to security and access rights.

If there was a way you could export you BankWest credit card and transaction account details to a budget app it would make it a lot easier

Hi @PopTart, thanks for your suggestion on this. For security reasons we do not recommend using any third party apps that require access to your PAN or secure code. However you can certainly export your current transaction listing and eStatements via online banking and upload these for budgeting purposes. Thanks!

Hi @LyndsC, your comment is fair enough but I’d strongly suggest Bankwest to offer a budget service to their customers themselves. In that way there would be no need to pass credentials on.
Others financial institutions do offer this service, either direct or via a third party and BankWest is behind in that sense. The question has been posted several times over several years. Please pass this on to your IT department.
