Avoiding interest

My card has a low limit, under $10,000. If I need to pay a large expense of say $12,000 can I deposit say $8000 cash into my card account and then pay the $15,000 bill for travel without incurring interest providing my monthly bill is always paid on time and in full?

Hi @JudyC, yes you can certainly add extra funds into the card to pay for something which costs more than the current limit. Providing your statements are paid in full by the due dates and have also previously paid your last statements in full also by the due dates, you would not be charged interest on this purchase.
