Updated to new ios version of the app today v 3.8.0
Can no longer swipe accounts to make payments
Anyone else having this issue?
Contacted BW direct and was told that users that have the newest version of the app are succesfully able to swipe their accounts to make payments
Is it just my device/app?
I have uninstalled/reinstalled again

Hey @khloerebekkah, sorry to hear this.
It's certainly not a known issue, though if in-installing and re-installing the app hasn't helped, I'd ask you to try the below steps:
Firstly, login to your Online Banking from a PC. Select "Self Service > Manage Devices" from the left side menu and then de-register the device by clicking the "remove" button. You'll then need to login to the app using your PAN and Secure Code, and select "Settings" to re-register for PIN and/or Fingerprint login if you've set this up.
This is an app "refresh" of sorts and generally helps - if you do continue to have this issue please pop through your full name, Forum username and a brief run-down of what happens when you try to initiate the payment to Forum@bankwest.com.au, so that we can have our App team investigate further.
