Why doesnt my BankWest mobile App give me a current up to date balance

When I check my balance on my phone, its never up to date.  This morning I paid off several Afterpay payments, but when I checked my current balance a few hours later, its still showing the original balance.  As soon as I scrolled through the history, I also realised that the dates on my account history are all out of sync.  Is this user error i.e am I doing something wrong?  How can I get an accurate, up to date account balance and related history in sync so I know exactly where im at?

Hi @JoJo1970 thanks for reaching out. The app, like our online banking, shows the up to date balance of your account as the 'Available balance'. This takes any pending transactions (eg, Afterpay/online transactions) into consideration and shows the exact amount of money available to you.

In regards to the dates shown, this is the date the transaction is finalised, not the date it was initiated. The initiation date is shown when the statement is issued for the account. I hope this helps.
