Setup this forum membership specifically for this- Why no Apple Pay?...?

Before I begin, I should say that I jumped from Apple to Android 2 years ago and couldn’t be happier. So I can use Google Pay with my phone, and do so constantly. However I assumed (I know!) that my hubby who has inherited my last iPhone (6 Plus) which was incredibly expensive and still works perfectly, should have the same function. So before googling I updated the phone tried to add a card, then several frustrating times later, read (I know, I know) the list of participating banks, to see that sadly, the B of WA not present. Headed to Google and found this forum. I’m adding my ten cents because it seems shocking that this isn’t possible in 2018; and I may use that list of participating banks to find one that accepts my mixed mobile family. Smiley Tongue

Hi @Blacktulipgirl, we know that some Bankwest customers are frustrated that we don’t currently offer Apple Pay. We have evaluated our customers’ needs and we’ve looked very closely at the viability of offering Apple Pay.

At present, we’ve been unable to agree on commercial terms with Apple that would enable us to deliver Apple Pay for our customers.
