Am currently over seas and traveling Europe and have started using different countries SIM card to save money however because I have a different number I cannot revive my sms verification code when I want to transfer money. Is it possible to turn it off or have the code sent to my email address?

Hi @Jackson13021990, we would need to put an SMS code exemption in place while you are overseas. To do this we need to speak with you over the phone. You can call us from overseas on +61 8 9486 4130. This is a reverse charges number. To use this number from outside Australia please contact the international operator in the country you are in and request to be put through to +61 8 9486 4130. Please note: we have no control over any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator. ^Lynds

Hello I am overseas and need to pay bills online with my bankwest account. I can't because of my phone not working and the SMS code doesn't arrive. The reverse charge call (to +61 8 9486 4130) is not possible according to the overseas operator. I need to fix this issue URGENTLY. I'm overseas for a few months and I'll need to access my account for various reasons while I'm away. I need help URGENTLY. Please contact me RUSH with a solution. Thanks Deb

I am over seas atm and my card is not working! can you plaese help me. I was in hospital when my card was overcharged by hotel in London. And now I'm better and have toped my 9k mastercard up to 17k and have no phone and my card is not working. Can you please Help? A warm hotel bed tonight would ben lovely

Hi @1985Thomas, I'm sorry to hear that your card isn't working, but am happy to hear you're on the mend! For security reasons via the Forum we can't view your account to see what is happening, however if you are able to access a PC, you can login to Online Banking and select the "Chat Now" button at the bottom of your screen between 7am – 6pm AWST Monday – Friday for assistance. Alternatively you can call our Contact Centre on +61 8 9486 4130 from a landline overseas. This is a Reverse Charges Number, however as you would need to contact the International Operator in the country you are in, I am unable to advise if there would be any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator.
