I am currently overseas but want to make regular payments into my home loan account. I can currently being paid in US dollars and wondered if I could use my Mastercard debit card to make payments onto my loan.
The card has a 16 digit no and CVV like any other and is not a credit card. I understand I will be subject to currency conversion fees but guess the basic question is , can I use a card to make payments onto the loan?

Hi @johnheath1979, thanks for reaching out.
You're not able to use a card to pay into your home loan I'm sorry - payments are only able to be made as below:
- Direct Debit / Periodical Payment
- Internal Transfer (Bankwest to Bankwest within your own Online Banking access)
- In Person at any Bankwest branch, via cash or cheque
I'm sorry I don't have a different answer for you JT, please let me know if you need any further info.
*The required Biller Code is 9118, and the Reference Number is the last 3 digits of your BSB, plus your 7 digit account number. For example, 0001234567.
