IB Payment Detail on Joint Account

Hello there,

We have a joint mortgage account and noticed that I cannot see all the IB Payment transaction details when my spouse makes purchases or payment transfers. It's likewise for her. Is there a way that we can all see all of our IB Payment transaction details?

Hi @PaulW, great question.

Even though accounts are in joint names, each party to the account will have their own PAN, in which online transfers can be processed. Whilst all transactions - ie debits/credits/purchases - will show on the transaction listing for all parties to see, the Payment History for IB Payments (BPAY/Pay Anybody/Internal Transfer) will only be visible within the Online Banking of the person who actioned this.

For security reasons, Online Banking access is provided to each individual, and should not be shared. I do apologise, however this does mean that you won't be able to see a record of any payments and transfers processed via another party to the account, other than in the transaction listing itself.

Hope this clarifies.
