Hi Bankwest team,
I am refinace my homeloan from Bankwest to St.George.
My new bank, St George, has sent a requested form to Bankwest more than 2 weeks ago for settlement date booking. There was no news when Bankwest can release the loan.
I have contact Bankwest via chat communication. A customer service said someone will call me in 1-2 days. I have mentioned to her that my settlement date is will be in the next 4 days (23/10/17). Two days later, no call from Bankwest.
I again call Bankwest customer service. This time she said they have scheducl to release my loan on 05/11/17. It means 1 month from when St. george send Bankwest the form.
She also suggested that I should call again on the settlement 23/10 if this can be done.
There is no way to know when the loan can be release.
I am not too sure how the business work this way.
In this case, I can missed my settlement date and have to pay penalty for this delay.
My question is how long dose actully to release the loan after request form sending.
Is there anyway I can make it happen on time.
