Hi @gillmac, you can deposit an international cheque into your account at your closest Bankwest store, which can take up to 31 business days to clear. Alternatively if you're not in Australia at the moment, you can post this to:

Bankwest
PO Box E237
Perth WA 6841

Any associated fees are listed under "Foreign Currency Cheques" on the Your Guide To Banking Fees page.

Thanks!

Thanks. Got other question, would it be easier to transfer my funds from Ireland once I'm back in Perth. I'm just looking for the least hassle free cheapest way of doing this.

If you're transferring them from your Irish account you'd need to speak to your Irish Bank @gillmac as we wouldn't be aware of the cost involved on their side.
I can advise that if the funds are sent electronically through the SWIFT network, there will be an Inward Payment Order fee to your Bankwest account. A fee may also apply to deposit a Foreign Cheque to your account as per the above link.

Hey @gillmac, just wanted to touch base as I've followed up and since found that you won't be able to post a foreign cheque I'm sorry, as there is a document you need to complete regarding exchange rates etc. I do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
