I am calling from Ethiopia and wish to recover my mislaid secure code for my online banking. The numbers I can call are as follows: +6189449 2840 and (from the previous post) +6189486 4130
Both of these numbers direct the customer to a digital selection option. In my case I wish to select 1. The automated system does not accept the 1 selected and goes into an endless loop, repeating the same message until the user has to cut the call. Is there a simple effective and secure way to do this. I have a contact no in Ethiopia and of course have access to my email account
Thank you for suggesting a solution.

Hi @DSh, thanks for your enquiry, and I'm sorry to hear you have been unable to reach us. When you call the above numbers, option 1 is for Phone Banking (ie transfers, account balance over the phone etc) and Card Activation, so you would not be able to action your request via that option, which may be why you are having difficulty from overseas. If you are unable to receive an SMS Code to your registered Australian mobile number whilst you are away to reset your Secure Code, you will need to be verbally identified, and I can confirm that the above numbers are correct to use. If you could please send me an email with your full name and best contact number to firstname.lastname@example.org, I'd be happy to arrange for a specialist to give you a call and look into your enquiry with you. Please note that it is now close of business, so this call will not be until tomorrow. Thank you.
