I am currently overseas and can't make online bookings with my BankWest Platinum MasterCard. When I go to make a payment on a website I get redirected to a BankWest security page and get asked to enter an SMS code, I don't have access to my Australian number thus am unable to recieve the SMS code. When searching around on the BankWest website it says that I have to call BankWest to get SMS security feature disabled. I have registered via online banking for overseas travel. Is there a way to disable SMS security code while overseas without having to call BankWest?

Hi @Shonteh, for security reasons we do need to speak with you over the phone to assist with this. You can call us from overseas on +61 8 9486 4130. This is a reverse charges number. To use this number from outside Australia please contact the international operator in the country you are in and request to be put through to +61 8 9486 4130. Please note: we have no control over any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator.
