overseas atm

I am currently on holidays in Seminyak Bali. On the night of Monday 17th I tried to make two withdrawals from a BNI atm next to my hotels. The first one was for 2500000 Rupia (4250 approx), the machine never gave me the money and I realize do thet I had pressed savings instead of Credit. I tried again for the smaller amount of 500000 Rupia ($50), this time using the credit function. The machine again gave me no money.

 

Neither transaction has shown on my online banking and I want to make sure it stays that way as I definitely didn’t get my money on either occasion. How do we unsure that they don’t try to take out the money? We did take money out today at a different ATM and this worked fine as it has every other time we came to Bali.

Hey @CraigChadwick1962, I'm sorry to hear this has happened and can appreciate your concern.

If the transactions aren't yet showing in your account balance, we'd expect that they shouldn't come through at a later date.

However, if they do appear in your account, please let us know through the 24/7 messaging service through your online banking so we can start the dispute process for you.
