Hi @AP, great question.
The agreement to use CBA ATMs at no cost for BWA Customers is within Australia only I'm sorry.
In relation to any fees, there is a 2.95% Foreign Transaction fee charged for each purchase and withdrawal on a Debit MasterCard overseas. An overseas ATM fee of $5.00 per withdrawal will also apply, charged on the first business day of each month. However, this fee is waived on the Qantas and Rewards Transaction accounts.
If it's a MasterCard Credit Card you're using, the 2.95% Foreign Transaction fee will apply to all purchases and withdrawals, unless you are using a Platinum or World Tier card, where this fee is waived. The ATM fee is $4.00 or 2% of the total withdrawal amount, whichever is higher. However, if the card has a balance over and above your credit limit, the fee is capped at $4.00. On the transaction listing this will show as Cash Advance Fee, but interest would only accrue if he amount withdrawn is debited from the balance within the card's limit.
You'll find some information on overseas fees, as well as tips on how to use your card overseas via this link
