I am travelling overseas with my 2 children. My husband has the platinum credit card and we have booked our trip on that. However he is not travelling with us. Are we still covered if the card holder is not on the trip?

Hi @Megmac87, thanks for getting in touch.
As long as you are an Additional Card Holder, then providing you have spent at least $500 of pre-paid travel expenses on the additional card and have a return airfare before leaving, then you should still be eligible for the Travel Insurance, regardless of the Primary Card Holder travelling with you.
It may just be best to speak with Allianz Global Assist to verify this - their number is 1800 010 075. This is because although Bankwest provide the insurance, Allianz are the underwriters of the policy and therefore will be able to confirm that you have met the criteria, and advise exactly what will be covered.
Have a wonderful trip!
