Transaction Disputes

Just learnt if you make a transaction in error via Bpay (pay the wrong payee) understandably my fault, Bankwest cannot do anything about it to recover the funds as this was done via Mobile banking. Backwards & Shocking it is considering how secure and convenient smart banking is meant to be.

Unfortunately I'm done using Bpay ever, will resort to other alternatives as I've lost a reasonable amount of money.

Hey @deechinz, I totally understand your frustration here.

While we can request a recall, as BPAY is technically a third party processor, there isn't much more we can do if our request is declined. You're certainly able to contact the merchant you've paid directly as well to see if they can process a refund for you, though this is at their discretion.

I am very sorry I don't have a different answer for you.
