Removing SMS security feature

I’m travelling overseas and don’t have my Australian SIM card, and I need to make a transfer that requires an SMS confirmation. I’m posting here because when I try to use the live support chat in my Bankwest app my messages aren’t sending for some reason... and when I try to call the international support number I get a robot from my service provider here saying the number’s not available at this time. Is it possible for a Bankwest representative to call me on my Indonesian number and verbally confirm my identity in order to have this security feature removed from my account?
