I’m travelling overseas and don’t have my Australian SIM card, and I need to make a transfer that requires an SMS confirmation. I’m posting here because when I try to use the live support chat in my Bankwest app my messages aren’t sending for some reason... and when I try to call the international support number I get a robot from my service provider here saying the number’s not available at this time. Is it possible for a Bankwest representative to call me on my Indonesian number and verbally confirm my identity in order to have this security feature removed from my account?
I urgently need to use my card!

Hi @Gowanboy, thank you for your message.
Via the Forum, we’re unable to view your accounts and/or your customer profile for security reasons, and you will need to verbally identified to have this actioned.
If you haven’t already spoken to a consultant since sending this message, you can call +61 8 9449 2840 using a landline or mobile, or even via Skype if you only have Wi-Fi. Please note that standard international call/Skype rates will apply. Alternatively, if you call +61 8 9486 4130 using a landline (perhaps at your accommodation?), you can reverse the charges. You would need to contact the International Operator in the country you are in, so keep in mind that we are unable to advise if there would be any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator. I have just tried both numbers and can confirm that they are both in use
All services are available 24/7 to help you out with this, and you’ll be bumped up the queue so you won’t need to be on hold for too long.
