I already have a Bankwest account, with address details as my permanent overseas address. It's my only address. I'm trying to open a second account online, but the form filling process won't allow me to change the country from Australia to my country of residence. 'Australia' is greyed out and can't be changed. So I can't proceed with the new account application.
The wait time on the help line is very long and I can't find the 'chat' symbol anywhere to try to engage with a person.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Many thanks for your response. I tried once again the help line and finally got through. They have advised me and seems I can go ahead after providing them with more details - so thank you once again for getting back to me. The problem is now solved.
