I have a platinum master card with bank west and I recently purchased forex (USD)  - greater than AUD500 worth for my upcoming trip in a week's time using my platinum card. Just wanting to know if purchasing forex funds qualifies me for the travel insurance?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @blessngwe05 purchasing foreign cash using your credit card will be considered a cash advance, so cash advance fees and interest will apply.

This will not be considered toward the minimum spend for the complimentary travel insurance I'm sorry.
