Why is there charges for Mcafee taken out from our offset transaction account.  We did not agree to purchase this one.

Hey @LisaAndy, really sorry to hear there has been an unauthorised transaction on your account.


For security purposes it would be best to place a temporary hold on the card used for this, to ensure that if it has been used without your knowledge or consent, nothing further can be debited. I'm not sure if you are aware, but if you have one of the most updated versions of the Bankwest Mobile App, you can now place a temporary hold on your card via the "Manage" tab of the account once you have selected it from the list. This is a relatively new feature, so it is only available on the most recent versions of the app.


If you're unable to do this, you can login to Online Banking and select "Message us Now" (from a PC) or "Ask Us" (via the Mobile App) to discuss this with a consultant at any time. They will be able to take a look at the transaction in more detail, and discuss the dispute process with you if required.
