I have a Bankwest Lite Platinum Mastercard and am planning a trip to Indonesia soon.
Can you let me know whether there are charges for international transactions?
According to the Bankwest website the Zero Platinum Mastercard has "No foreign transaction fees on online or overseas purchases." Is this also true for the Lite Platinum mastercard? Couldn't find any info specific to this card on the website.

Is the $500 AUD minimum spend on pre-paid travel expenses a more recent term and condition of the Bankwest Platinum credit card @LyndsC?
The last trip I did to Singapore, I didn't purchase travel expenses on my card, but just used it for overseas shopping and wasn't charged foreign transaction fees on my purchases.

Sorry @cgm and @baggas, i seem to have gotten confused and misread the enquiry here. The $500 minimum spend, is to qualify for the complimentary travel insurance. All foreign transaction fees are waived for our Platinum MasterCard Credit Cards, and there is no minimum spend for this. I apologise again for the confusion, and I have edited my original response. Thanks!

Excellent. Thanks for clarifying. Was planning on taking my card overseas but not necessarily spending $500 on it so it's good to know there's no transaction fees.
