When travelling overseas @Maesron, there's actually no way to avoid fees for either product type. Depending on the product, you will need to pay any foreign transaction fees, fees for using an overseas ATM, as well as any fees levied by the ATM owner.
The exception to this is the Bankwest Qantas Transaction Account or Rewards Transaction Account, which waive Overseas ATM fees; and selected Platinum and World Mastercards which don't incur foreign transaction fees.
The big problem is that Bankwest isn't apart of any Global ATM alliances (like Westpac), nor do their cards participate in the PLUS, Cirrus or Maestro ATM networks. It's something I wish Bankwest and their parent company CBA would take action on.
