How do I get my secure code?

Would you please email me how I set a secure code for my MasterCard. I contacted Bankwest about my international travel & they recorded the countries I was visiting but no-one has mentioned that I should have a secure code

It sounds like you may be referring to the SMS code which you may be asked to provide for some online purchases using your card. If you're unable to receive SMS's to your registered Australian mobile number, we'd need to speak with you over the phone to arrange an SMS code exemption. You can call us from overseas on +61 8 9486 4130. This is a reverse charges number. To use this number from outside Australia please contact the international operator in the country you are in and request to be put through to +61 8 9486 4130. Please note: we have no control over any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator.

Alternatively if the secure code that you're referring to, is to access online banking we would still need to speak with you on the above number. Thanks!
