Holiday insurance - illness

We are due to fly back from the UK tomorrow but I'm 1 year old son has been admitted to hospital and we may not be able to fly.

The airline will not change the flights for free and said we need to pay $175pp to change the tickets, then additional ticket and tax fees.

Can the Bankwest holiday insurance assist with any of the costs if we need to change the flights?

I'm sorry to hear your son is in hospital @Gilesy81. If you're covered by our complimentary credit card travel insurance, this may be something that would be covered.

You'd be best to have a chat with the insurance providers, Cover-More regarding this. They're available toll free from the UK on 0808 234 1925. Please note, charges apply if calling from a mobile phone or pay phone.
