Hi @mc3065, I'm sorry your card's been declining while you're in Japan, I can appreciate this is concerning. While overseas, you need to ensure you're selecting the 'credit' option at any EFTPOS terminals or ATMs that display the Mastercard logo.

While I'd love to be able to investigate this further for you, I'm unable to view your accounts through the Forum I'm very sorry. If you can log into your online banking using a computer or laptop and click the 'Message us now' button, our team are available to look into this 24/7.

I am unable to see a 'Message Us Now' button.

I can't call you.

This Bankwest experiment is just costing me time and money.

Email has been successful for a reason.

As email is an unsecured method of communication, we're unable to discuss any account information via email @mc3065. If you can please send me an email to forum@bankwest.com.au with your full name, a contact number we can call you on including your area and country code, and your forum username - I can arrange a call to look into this for you on Monday. Alternatively if you can access a phone somehow to make outbound calls, you can call us from overseas on +61 8 9486 4130. This is a reverse charges number. To use this number from outside Australia please contact the international operator in the country you are in and request to be put through to +61 8 9486 4130. Please note: we have no control over any charges applied by the local or international telephone company for contacting the operator. Thanks.
