I had my bag stolen with all my credit cards. The people who stole it made many withdrawls by paypass until my account was empty (all within 1.5hrs). I rang Bankwest and cancelled the cards. Since then I have not heard from a Bankwest member (call or email) and have not had any update on the progress of the investigationto or any update on when I can expect to have the funds returned to my account.
I would like to know what I need to do now.

Hi @LibbyW, I'm really sorry to hear this. If you have completed a Transaction Dispute Form, we will endeavour to resolve the dispute within 6 - 8 weeks of receiving the form. As these disputes require us to liaise with other financial institutions and merchants, we need to allow reasonable time for the other party to respond. Whilst there are no updates as such during the investigation, you would be contacted if any further information is required. Once this has been completed, you are advised of the outcome in writing. For security reasons via the Forum I won't be able to look at your account to provide you with an update, however you can login to Online Banking and select the "Chat Now" button at the bottom of your screen between 7am – 6pm AWST Monday – Friday for more information. Alternatively, you can call our Contact Centre on 13 17 19 between 8am - 8pm your local time, 7 days a week. Thank you.
