I found a bag of 1 & 2 cent coins at home.  Does the bank still accept them?

Hi @TH, what a find! I wonder if you have any of the rare 2c coins with Stuart Devlin's initials missing...

But if you're keen to get them in the piggy bank, you can pop into any Bankwest store to collect some coin bags and deposit your copper coins with us.

Now for a bit of spot the difference Smiley Happy

I'll definitely be checking them closely before I bring them in!  Thanks for your response.

Hi. I have also found some old copper coins. Can I pop into Bankwest and deposit these? Are they still legal tender enough for me swap it?

I attended a Bankwest shop at Warringah Mall today and was advised that the coin machine DOES NOT accept 1 and 2 cent coins.  Can you please advise whether that is correct or do we have to do something else to deposit them???

Hey @freshiemac, 1 & 2c coins can be deposited into your account over the counter. Our coin machines can now only accept currency that's in circulation I'm sorry. ^Meg
